Let the Groom Be Heard!

It’s always fun to read wedding blogs. You get to follow the bride as she plans her wedding, vents about her frustrations, and reminisces about her wedding day. There are so many different wedding blogs out there, it’s easy to find one that you can relate to. But what about the grooms? What about the men who are also preparing for that big day? Oh, there are blogs for them too. And it’s great to see that more and more of them are starting to pop up. I think it’s great for the fiances to stick together. Because, let’s face it girls, they have a WAY different perspective on the whole wedding/marriage thing than we do. And it’s often more humorous than ours. For example, I found THIS HILARIOUS BLOG POST today via a tweet from The Man Registry (@themanregistry). Bride and Groom Scorecards? Really? YES! They’re even laminated…PROFESSIONALLY...

A Favor or Two

I may have been absent from the blogging world for a while, but I have been present at my craft table that entire time. Most of that time was spent completing orders for my exclusive Happy Tears Wedding Tissues. But this week I put my focus on creating some gorgeous favor bags and boxes to introduce to all of you! So I’ll keep the chit chat short and just get straight to the photos! Check ‘em out! (For all you DIY brides, click on the photos for a list of the materials and tools I used to create these boxes.) This first collection is based off of my Star Crossed design which I used on one of my Happy Tears Tissue Boxes. I just swapped the colors and came up with what is now my new favorite design! The next collection is a new design based on a design...

Busy is an Understatement

Wow. It’s kind of crazy how busy things have been for me lately! But it has been such a blessing, really. Ever since I debuted my Happy Tears Tissue Boxes, the response has been incredible! And I just received an order today for 100! It’s insane! LOL. But in a good way of course! The funny thing is that with all the Happy Tears orders I’m trying to fill, I have no time to work on creating other products that I’d like to share with you here and on Etsy. Oh, the irony. But I’m sure I’ll find a way to balance things out. This whole business thing is still all so new to me. Just being able to balance housework and business work is tough enough. Now that I’m actually getting some real business, getting that balance is even more of a challenge. But hey, I love challenges...

And the Winners Are…

Sorry I’m a little late posting my winners for my Happy Tears Giveaway. I was out with my girl friend checking out venues for her wedding next year. It was a lot of fun, but it took a little longer than I expected it to. Anyways, let’s not delay the exciting announcement any longer! I went to Random.org and used their random number generator to pick my winning comments! Here they are! My Five Crafty Winners Are: Comment #9 by Missy: I am both a bride and crafter. I would need 75 tissue boxes. I would absolutely love either. I like scraps of life on facebook. Comment #16 by Jessica: I am a crafter and a bride! I would need 25 tissue boxes! Comment #29 by Tina: I am a crafter who loves to make little gifts for my friends and family and this is such a great idea....
