I Want To Make You A Winner!

Over the weekend, I found out that my submission for one of the SoShelli.com Creative Challenges was selected as a winner! I was chosen from over 62 entries for the Wedding Wishes Creative Challenge over at the blog of Stampin’ Up! Cofounder and CEO Shelli Gardner. I found out that I won on Saturday and I’m excited that I get to share this wonderful news with you! Now, you may be wondering, “What project did you submit for the challenge?” Well, since it was a wedding themed challenge, I just had to submit my Happy Tears Wedding Tissues since they’re so unique and fit with the theme perfectly! You all have loved them so much, and I felt that Shelli might love them, too. And she did! Yay! (You can see my name on her blog post HERE)

So because of this fantastic news, I want you all to celebrate with me! I was chosen as a winner this past weekend, so now I want to make a few other people winners, too! You know what that means! BLOG CANDY! Woohoo! Now read on for the details on this special Happy Tears Giveaway! Click Here to view my original Happy Tears Wedding Tissues Post.

For you crafty peoples:

As you know, I am in the process of creating a tutorial for my unexpectedly popular Happy Tears Tissue Boxes. I’m sure many of you are anxious to get your hands, or eyes, on the tutorial first. And since I’m not going to be charging for this particular tutorial (yeah, I know, I’m so nice!), I can’t exactly offer the tutorial for free. So here is what FIVE lucky readers will receive:

  • FIVE lucky winners will receive the tutorial by email 5 days before I post it onto my blog! That’s right, you just might be able to get that tutorial almost a week in advance of everyone else! I will be posting the Happy Tears Tissue Box tutorial on my blog on Thursday, July 1st, but if you win, you’ll have an email copy of the tutorial on Saturday, June 26th!
  • The opportunity to win even more blog candy! *GASP* What?! MORE blog candy??? Yeah, I said it! MORE blog candy! But you’ll have to wait until June 26th to find out how to win this extra prize pack: a 6″ x 6″ sample pack of the new Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper (coming out in the new 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog) PLUS the Things I Love Stamp Set! ***NOTE*** Only one of the five original winners will receive this extra prize pack!

For you lovely Brides!

Okay, I know not everyone out there is the DIY type of person. And I’m sure there are some brides out there who would love to have some of these Happy Tears Tissues for their wedding guests but don’t want to try to make them themselves. Not to worry, dear brides! There’s a giveaway for you too! Here is what ONE lucky winner will receive:

  • Pack of 25 Happy Tears Tissue Boxes for her wedding! That’s a $50 value!
  • If you win, just send me some information regarding your wedding colors/theme and I’ll design and create Happy Tears Tissue Boxes for your wedding, FREE!

To Enter this Giveaway Contest: Please tell me if you’re a crafter or a bride and comment on how many tissue boxes you think you’d need to make for a wedding (that seems to be a popular question, lol).

The first one is mandatory, these are options to get yourself extra entries:

  • Become a follower using Google Friend Connect or let me know you are already a follower.
  • Follow me on Twitter @jnScrapsOfLife or let me know you’re already a follower
  • Tweet about this giveaway — don’t forget to tell me your Twitter name and include @jnScrapsofLife in your tweet as well as a link to this post!
  • “Like” Scraps of Life on Facebook or let me know you are already a fan.
  • Post about this giveaway on your blog and send me the link.

That’s six possible entries. Make sure to let me know if you’re a crafter or bride in each of your comments and make sure to leave me a comment for each entry option you do so that you get all your entries in!

This giveaway will end on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 5:00pm PST. I will pick the winners at random on Saturday, June 26th and announce them on my blog. The five Crafty winners will receive their advance copy of the tutorial via email on Saturday, June 26th. The lucky Bride winner will receive an email from me on June 26th and we’ll get started on your free Happy Tears Wedding Tissues! For everyone else, the Happy Tears Tissue Box Tutorial will be posted on my blog on Thursday, July 1st.

UPDATE 6/22/10: This contest is open to U.S./Canada residents only! Sorry I didn’t mention that earlier. If you’ve already entered, you can still win since I didn’t make this clear earlier. But I will no longer take entries from residents outside the U.S. or Canada.

Good luck to all of you! And if you have any questions at all, just fill out the form on my contact page and submit it! I’ll get back to you within 24 hours.

I am a crafter and the mother of a bride-to-be. The joke at my house already is how we are going to have enough tissues for both my self and the grooms mother. We thought about a toilet paper holder at the end of the pews so our tissues would be continuous but this is a much prettier idea. Hope I win. Thanks
