Time Passes
Time passes…and sometimes much too quickly! I say this because Friday is the final day of the Occasions Mini Catalog. That means that you have less than one week left to purchase those Occasions Mini items you’ve had your eye on or to stock up on your favorite products from the catalog! I know two of my favorite products from the Occasions Mini will be bidding us farewell: Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper and the uber cute Sweet Pea Stitched Felt. Here is a card I made using those two favorites
Scraps of Advice:
- Create some fun dimensional grass using some green cardstock and your Paper Snips. On this card, I used two strips of Old Olive cardstock and cut slits on one side of each strip with my Paper Snips. Don’t worry about making each cut precise. It’s grass, it should be random!
- This was one of the cards I made during my “DSP Focal Point” phase. I let the fun pattern on the sheet of Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper do all the hard work for me. I just accented the design with some grass, a cute sentiment, and a couple of pieces of Sweet Pea Stitched Felt.
I have to say that I am super sad to see the Sweet Pea items retire. But there is still something to be excited about! Not everything in the Occasions Mini is retiring! Stampin’ Up! is carrying over TONS of the popular products from the Occasions Mini into the new Summer Mini or into the next Idea Book & Catalog. What a fun and happy card! I love how the sentiment rolls up and down! Those felt flowers are really cute too. I think I need to get out my felt, so I can reach for it when I craft. Right now it’s too out of reach for me to remember that I have it!!!
