Some Little Notes

July 14, 2009

So I have finally started working on projects that I plan to sell online. I have created accounts on both Etsy and Artfire, but I haven’t done anything with either (which will be quite obvious if you bother to click on either of those links). I’d been too busy with licensing stuff, getting acquainted with Stampin’ Up!, and trying to organize my workspace. Until yesterday!

Check out my first item for sale! It’s a 6 pack of mini note cards! Yay!

I just had to create these cute mini cards because I was instantly inspired as soon as I saw the “Say It With Scallops” stamp set in the Spring-Summer 2009 Idea Book & Catalog. The stamps were just too cute! And the Scallop Square punch was perfect for punching out the stamped images. These things almost made themselves…I just had to come up with the right color combos.

Now, I haven’t listed this on Etsy or Artfire just yet. I want to create a few more items so that I can have a proper shop opening with more offerings than just one item. I think my goal is to officially open up my shops in August! Just gotta keep being productive, and creative!

For those of you who are interested, here is the list of all the items I used to create these mini notes:
Stamp Sets: Say It With Scallops (retired), Wings of Friendship (hostess set)
Ink: VersaMark watermark ink pad, Soft Suede, Kiwi Kiss*, Baja Breeze*
Cardstock: plain white cardstock, Soft Suede, Kiwi Kiss*, Baja Breeze*
Tools: Scallop Square punch, Stampin’ Pastels
*These were last year’s In Colors and are no longer available through Stampin’ Up!

Check back for more fun creations as I work to open up my online stores!

Thanks! I would be ecstatic if you wrote about my business on your blog! I would love for more people to see and read about what I do.
